Link a corrective action

A corrective action is an ordinary prevention action (a course, a procedure, a maintenance plan) linked to the event that made it necessary. See Incidents and events.

The event links actions that already exist in the office. If the action does not exist yet, create it first: see Create an action.

1. Open the event and choose the Actions tab.
2. Click the New icon.
3. In the Action window, select one or more actions of the office, of any type.
4. Confirm.

The actions appear in the tab with their code and name. By opening an action’s row you can add a Description of the link, for example why it was decided.

The link is also visible from the action

In the action’s window, the Event tab lists the events the action is linked to.

The action’s status is followed in the action

The event’s Actions tab does not show the status or the deadline of the linked actions. To follow them, open the action from its row, or use the scheduler.

The Description Actions Involved field in the details is free text: it describes the actions decided, but does not link them.
