Layout

In 4HSE windows, selecting a row in a list opens the details panel, with the tabs of the selected item. This preference sets where that panel is shown:

• Details at the bottom: the list takes the full width and the details appear in the lower part of the window;
• Details on the right: the list stays in the central column and the details open in a column on the right.

The first arrangement leaves more room for the list columns, the second for the detail fields: the choice depends on the proportions of your screen and on how much you work on the details.

Changing the layout

From the user menu, open “User preferences” and go to Layout, then click the preview of the arrangement you want.

The change requires the page to be reloaded: you are asked to confirm and, if you proceed, 4HSE reloads with the new layout. If you decline the reload, the previous arrangement stays active.

Note

The setting is personal, but it stays tied to the device where you choose it: if you sign in from another computer, or from another browser on the same computer, you need to set it again.
